Most people are aware that healthy eating, portion control, and regular exercise are necessary to achieve and maintain a healthy weight. However, these practices are often difficult to achieve. Our objective is to educate our patients about healthy lifestyles, teach them the skills necessary to make lifestyle changes, and empower them to implement these changes in their everyday lives.

We take a step-by-step approach to teaching new skills during medical visits and weekly groups so that self-defeating thoughts and behaviors can be replaced with more helpful ones. In addition, each patients program is personalized based on his or her current weight, medical conditions, lifestyle factors, and personal goals.

All of our programs are comprehensive, involving medical, behavioral, nutritional, and exercise physiology services. Program choice is a clinical determination based on many variables. We are happy to answer more specific questions at our orientation meetings.

Below is information that compares the programs we offer. Although an average weekly weight loss is listed, an individuals average weight loss may vary due to several factors, including starting weight, the degree to which an individual follows the program, gender, age, etc.
