From todays Down in Alabama podcast:

In the debate over whether President Trump ought to appoint a Supreme Court justice to replace Ruth Bader Ginsburg and whether the Senate ought to vote to confirm, Alabamas two senators have weighed in over what they think.

Dont spit out your coffee in shock, but Republican Richard Shelby is in favor of moving forward with a confirmation, and Democrat Doug Jones believes everybody should wait to see who wins the coming presidential election before anyone is appointed.

Well talk a little more about that, as well as some of the economic effects of Hurricane Sally and an obesity study thats out with updated stats. (Also: Why obesity rankings of states are unfair to us in the South).
