Therefore, it is advisable to prepare and store food safely and avoid any food-borne pathogens in your household. You should rinse meat, poultry, fish, fruits, and vegetables under running water before cooking or serving them. Also, wash your hands with soap and water before and after you handle raw meat.

One should never underestimate the importance of getting vaccinated. Many deadly infections can be prevented by immunisation. Thus, it is suggested to consult your medical professional about your immunisation status and take measures accordingly.

A healthy diet ensures good immunity. Therefore, ensure that you consume a well-balanced diet and take your supplements as prescribed by your medical professional. You can incorporate mushrooms, tomato, bell pepper, and green vegetables like broccoli, spinach as they help to build resilience in the body against infections.
