Bigelow Center presents free talk by Dr. Woznitzer – Fairfield Sun

Matthew S. Wosnitzer, M.D. of Northeast Medical Group Urology of Fairfield, will give a presentation on the effects of aging related to a decline in testosterone in men, which begins after the age of 30. The free talk will take place at Bigelow Center for Senior Activities on Wednesday, Sept. 13, at 10 a.m., 100 Mona Terrace. Adult men and women are invited.

Some symptoms of low testosterone may include fatigue, lack of motivation, low sex drive, erectile dysfunction, weight gain, loss of muscle mass, and decreased levels of athletic performance.

Dr. Wosnitzer will discuss traditional medical treatments as well as some natural approaches, including changes in diet and exercise for treating hormonal changes in men.

Dr. Wosnitzer is a Fairfield based urologist who treats both male and female urological patients. He completed urology training at Columbia University Medical Center and a male infertility/andrology fellowship at Weill Cornell Medical College/ NY-Presbyterian Hospital. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, and presents regularly at national conferences. Dr. Wosnitzer has a particular background in microsurgical reconstruction of the male reproductive tract (including vasectomy reversal), treatment of low testosterone, and erectile dysfunction.
